At ITE HCMC 2007, 982 exhibitor personnels from 180 seller organizations from 11 countries showcased their destinations, products and services in the tourism industry to the visitors. 101 buyers from 29 countries and territories worldwide participated in the Buyers’ Programme hosted by the Department of Tourism (HCMC) – over 1000 business meetings and negotiations were being held.

Consumer visitors

The majority of ITE HCMC 2007 consumer visitors came South of Vietnam – the financial hub of Vietnam, one of the wealthiest city, home to 7 million consumers. Their major interest to visit ITE HCMC 2007 was to get travel information and be informed about the latest outbound travel trends and products.
